Security Officer Hospital Vaccine Escort Patrol

As a Security Officer Hospital Vaccine Escort Patrol in Canonsburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated hospital areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Observe and report any unusual incidents, hazards, or conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support compliance with facility policies.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and / or escorting individuals as required within the healthcare environment.
  • Provide support to staff and visitors by answering questions, giving directions, and responding to requests for assistance.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate security-related logs and reports as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must provide proof of required vaccinations in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Must be able to work in hospital environments including morgue areas as needed to carry out security-related duties.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to safely restrain individuals in accordance with hospital protocols.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
