Job Description :
- Work in the Intensive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 1 : 2 - 1 : 3.
- Required to work every other weekend.
- No on-call requirements.
- Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs and between similar units.
- First-time travelers accepted if they have 2 years of ICU experience.
- Open to accommodating a block schedule; the unit follows a self-scheduling system for every 6 weeks.
- Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Must include all requested time off at the time of submission. No additional time off will be approved after accepting the assignment.
- Facilities may assign employees and contractors to emergency response teams during the hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
- Pre-start modules are required and non-billable, with an average of 4 hours spent on them.
- Orientation is 16 hours, non-billable.
