About The Position
Job Title : Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Job Specialty : Surgical Services Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Please see billing rules Experience : 2 Years Required License : Valid State License or Compact required Certifications : BLS required;
CSFA preferred Must-Have : - Strong general, urology, ortho, and first assisting experience - Flexible endoscope reprocessing skills - Sterilization, decontamination, scrub, equipment documentation, aseptic technique Job Description : - Work primarily during the daytime with rotational shifts - Handle cases including total joints, minor ortho, thoracic, robotics, neuro, ortho / spine, general / gyn / uro open / laparoscopic, and ENT / plastics / dental - First-timers accepted for the role - Required to work weekends and holidays as assigned and be on-call as needed - Ability to float within the facility scope to meet hospital needs - Experience in inpatient, outpatient, trauma, and community hospitals is essential - Work in a Level II Trauma Center with 431 total staffed beds - Utilize EPIC for charting - Must complete up to 8 hours of modules within a week of signing (not billable) - Contribute to the team by demonstrating strong skills in various surgical procedures and flexible endoscope handling techniques within the surgical services unit
