About the Role

As a TurboTax Live Seasonal Local Service Expert, you will :

  • Provide Expert Tax Services : Use your tax knowledge to assist clients with everything from simple W2 filings to complex business income scenarios.
  • Engage with the Community : Build lasting relationships and grow TurboTax’s client base by being the local face of TurboTax.
  • Educate and Empower : Host events and create accessible content to demystify taxes for your community.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Experiences : Ensure every interaction is professional and focused on helping clients achieve their financial goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Tax Expertise : Provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services, uncovering deductions and maximizing refunds.
  • Community Ambassador : Actively engage with potential clients and nurture leads into long-term relationships.
  • Confident Communication : Represent TurboTax enthusiastically and make taxes approachable for everyone.
  • Relationship Building : Connect with clients on a personal level to foster trust and loyalty.
  • Best-in-Class Customer Experience : Use state-of-the-art tools to assist clients both in-person and virtually.

    • Who You Are

  • Have active credentials (EA, CPA, or Attorney) and a minimum of 2 years of paid tax experience.
  • Possess an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) .
  • Willing to work a minimum of 24 hours per week at a TurboTax location.
  • Excited to build a local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) skills are a plus!

    • Working Conditions

    This is a seasonal, nonexempt role requiring onsite presence at a TurboTax location in the United States. You’ll be part of a supportive team dedicated to helping clients succeed.

  • Base pay ranging from $26.20 to $36.10 depending on your location.
