Graphic Designer
Clayton Services is searching for a Graphic Design Engineer to join a thriving company in North Houston. The Graphic Design Engineer will be responsible for developing electrical diagrams for industrial equipment in Adobe Photoshop.
The Graphic Design Engineer will be responsible for drawing system specifications and layouts.
Graphic Design Engineer Responsibilities :
- Utilize Adobe Photoshop to draw and diagram electrical system specifications
- Provide support throughout the manufacturing of the electrical systems
- Edit photos for marketing use (crop backgrounds, edit details, remove details, etc.)
- Convert schematics / drawings into graphic design software to be finalized
- Create and edit labels, logos, and other graphics to be applied to units
- Document and organize all schematics, graphics, logos, etc. to be accessed readily
- Develop product literature / brochures from scratch in vector software
- Utilize CAD to design and perfect new electrical systems
- Document specifications, schematics, and diagrams regarding projects
- Produce reports addressing project progress and other details for managerial staff
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy of drawings and diagrams
- Other duties as assigned

Graphic Design Engineer Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree is highly desired
- Previous experience as a Graphic Designer with heavy Adobe Photoshop experience is highly desired
- Adobe Photoshop proficiency
- Knowledgeable of electrical codes is a plus
- Previous internship or work experience
Graphic Design Engineer - This is an excellent temp-to-hire opportunity. The position pays $25.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
