Position Summary

Analyzes and processes pricing and rate requests from internal sales groups, customers, or third parties. Evaluates competitor activity to identify optimal pricing for market segments.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• Maintains pricing database to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing and guide pricing decisions.
• Processes, reviews, and updates data related to contract files and requests for proposals.
• Conducts market research, evaluates data, and develops insights on market trends and pricing strategies.
• Completes thorough bid packaging within specified customer deadlines.
• Monitors and updates the Transportation Management System with new and revised contract terms for fixed-term pricing.
• Performs costing analysis to develop competitive pricing options.
• Proposes and implements approved process improvements.
• Partners with internal sales organization to improve the profitability of accounts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• 2+ years of transportation and / or pricing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical tools.
