About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Labor and Delivery Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 4x12-Hour (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM) Guaranteed Hours : Yes Experience : Not specified License : Current New Mexico or Multi-State Licensure required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHOHHN Intermediate Must-Have : Proficiency with Meditech or comparable EMR documentation preferred.
First-timers accepted. Job Description : Work in the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting, caring for mothers and newborns.
- Participate in a rotating schedule for on-call duties and floating, as needed, with client staff, following established policies and Joint Commission standards.
- Provide compassionate and professional patient care, ensuring safety and comfort for both mother and baby.- Attend required orientation for the initial 16 hours.
- Flexibility to start as soon as all compliance requirements are met.- Adhere strictly to the smoke / nicotine-free campus policy.
- Willingness to work some holidays as necessary.- Maintain a high level of proficiency in charting and documentation with Meditech.
- Keep any requested time off to a minimum, with approvals required in initial submission.- Applicants must live more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible.
- Not open to candidates previously employed permanently within the last 2 years in the same facility.This position is ideal for a motivated and professional Registered Nurse eager to provide quality care in a critical access setting with a small, dedicated team.
