Minimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.
We are partnering with a school in the Crowley, Texas area to find a contractual, full-time, on-site Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
We're searching for a knowledgeable and experienced applicant that wants to work with a variety ofstudents, K - 12th.
As a School-Based BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and providing training and support to staff and students.
Your role will be critical in promoting positive behavior, enhancing student learning, and fostering a safe and inclusive school environment.
Position Details :
- August 5, 2024 - May 23, 2025
- K - 12th grade students, multiple school sites
- Full-Time : 37.5 hours per week
- Pay Rate : $30 - $50 per hour, depending on previous experience
Requirements :
- Must have a Masters Degree in one of the following : School / Educational Psychology, Behavior, Special Education, or a similar field
- Must hold a National BCBA Certification
- Must be willing to supervise RBTs
- Must have 5 - 10 years of previous experience
General Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments to identify the underlying factors contributing to challenging behaviors.
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on the results of functional behavior assessments.
- Collect and analyze data on student behavior, implementing appropriate data collection systems.
- Provide training and professional development to school staff on behavior management strategies and interventions.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make necessary adjustments.
