About The Position
Job Title : Sterile Processing Technician Job Specialty : Sterile Processing Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night - 8x5 - 4 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM (40 Hours) Guaranteed Hours : 40 Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : N / A Certifications : Current Sterile Processing Certification through a nationally recognized organization Must-Have : Ability to work holiday and weekend rotations Job Description : Reprocesses surgical instrumentation, including disassembly, decontamination, disinfection, inspection, testing, assembly, packaging, labeling, high-level disinfection, and sterilization.
- Operates ultrasonic cleaners, washers, sterilizers, and other equipment.- Completes quality monitoring and documentation.
- Picks supplies and instruments to prepare case carts for surgery.- Assists with supply inventory management and clinic instrument rounds.
- Performs all duties with a commitment to excellence in quality and customer service.- May be required to work day, evening, night, weekend, holiday, and / or on-call hours.
- Adheres to report-back time for on-call per department guidelines.- Performs other duties as assigned.
