Job Title : Director of Nursing

Salary : $111,000 - $150,000 (depending on experience)
Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in Vancouver, WA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Health and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care within the facility.
This leadership role requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for patient care and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing staff, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration and coordination of patient care services.
- Lead and mentor the nursing team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
- Participate in the development and management of the nursing departments budget, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among staff.
- Serve as a liaison between the nursing staff and hospital administration, advocating for the needs and concerns of the nursing department.
Must-Haves :
- Education : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Licensure : Current unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State Board of Nursing.
- Experience : Prior experience in Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Health nursing.
Nice-to-Haves :
Leadership Experience : Prior leadership experience in Inpatient Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Health settings.
