About The Position
Job Title : Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiovascular Surgery Job Specialty : Nurse Practitioner - Cardiovascular Surgery Job Duration : 13-week assignment Shift : Night - 3x12 - 7 pm - 7 am, 36 Hours per week Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum years of experience not specified License : License requirements not specified Certifications : ACLS : Required- BLS : Required Must-Have : Full scope practice ability, including work in the OR, patient rounding, and ICU Job Description : Provide cardiovascular care as an Advanced Practice Provider- Work average of 2 weekends per month, including : - 8 onsite hours - On-call duties during weekends (Friday 7 pm to Monday 7 am)- Handle patient encounters in ICU settings- Work collaboratively with cardiovascular surgery teams- This position requires credentialing with an estimated timeframe of 60-90 days- The facility is a Level 2 trauma center and has a PEDS Level 3 designation
