Sr Actuarial System Analyst (Java Developer)

• This position is responsible for planning, analysis and implementation of procedures and / or processes to design a sequence of steps for processing data by a computer;
• applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems to evaluate requests for new or modified programs, systems or databases to determine feasibility, resource requirements, compatibility with current systems, and computer capabilities;

locating and correcting program errors; and testing, enhancing, maintaining and documenting the coded instructions for a variety of programs and systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Business Administration or related field OR 4 years minimum related experience in lieu of a degree
• 3 years information technology experience working on technology systems.
• 3 years of experience in a job requiring analysis with healthcare information data analysis
• 3 years of experience with SQL, Access, APL or other relational database systems tools.
• 3 years of experience in system development and programming.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes.

Required Skills

• 6 years of IT work experience in software development, installation and modification in an online environment.
• Experience in J2EE Technologies, Java,Spring boot,Spring Framework ,Spring MVC ,bootstrap , Hibernate , Angular, NodeJS,React JS, RxJS, Microservices, Axios, WebServices-Rest API, JSON,JAXB, Struts 2.x, JSP, AJAX ,jQuery,
• Experience with architecting, designing, building, and deploying enterprise-level software systems
• Solid understanding of micro services, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate,JPA
• UI development experience using AngularJS / ReactJS or similar technologies
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• Adds value to team delivery and works with team to complete tasks to high quality and actively learns new skills
• Supports end-user functional and system support issues via various channels (e.g. tickets, email, chat)
• Lead and participate in performance tests, identifies the bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization and capacity demands
• Experience with Jenkins / CI / CD build tools
• Please note that this role has an in office requirement of at least 3 days a week. and does not have visa sponsorship
