Responsible for providing efficient, effective, quality customer service through a variety of duties including, but not limited to, patient check-in, registration, scheduling, exam preparation, outbound calling, and some referral management.
Complies with established company policies and procedures, HIPAA Privacy Rules and Duly Health and Care Confidentiality Policy.
Ensures clear and timely communication including patient appointment status to clinical departments. Assist in overall department work that may include overflow from other specialty departments and / or locations Responsibilities The Journeys and Adventures that Await Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures Certified medical assistants will assist with immunizations or injections daily Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing Conduct onsite lab testing to include : EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests Maintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required Qualifications The Experiences You Bring High school diploma or GED required Certification of Medical Assistant educational program required CPR certification required Must be comfortable with administering injections Prior experience working as a CMA, atleast 1 year of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care
