Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will be responsible for :
- Assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating and educating patients
- Working closely with Physicians and other Clinicians in a team approach to provide the appropriate patient care
- Carrying out the plan of care for his / her patients
- Performing other duties, as needed
- Participating in performance improvement / research activities
- Maintaining professional practice standards and clinical expertise
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications :
- Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school
- Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current NYS license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification
Desired Skills :
- 2+ years of experience in an Acute Care setting
