Position Type :
Full-time, hours per week; Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, 3 : 30pm-11 : 00pm and alternating morning / evening shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.
Days off are Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
- Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual disabilities and specialized care in daily living, social, and recreational activities.
- Provide support and assistance to foster maximum independence and choice of individuals.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the individual support plan.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals.
- Assist and encourage individuals to engage in various activities in the home and community.
- Administer medications (upon completion of certification; all necessary training is provided).
- Assist / perform needed cooking, housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Observe individuals' behaviors and changes in physical condition, utilize prescribed strategies to assist the individual, and document and report accordingly by keeping accurate logs and records for each individual.

- Prospective employees hired for a full-time sign on bonus eligible position will receive the first third of the total bonus after the successful completion of three (3) months of employment.
The second third will be awarded after the successful completion of six (6) months of employment, and the final third will be awarded after achieving a satisfactory rating or higher on the annual performance evaluation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license & MVR history with three (3) years of driving experience.
- PA state criminal history, child abuse record and an FBI clearance.
- Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred but not required.
