Under the direction of the Cluster Manager, the Employment Program Manager I plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates the Workforce Services (WS) Program activities and special programs.

Monitors productivity and provides timely feedback to staff, management and partners. Activities also include the planning and scheduling of work, training and staff development, monitoring employee performance and taking correction action.

Coordinates with the management team in planning and setting goals, as well as collaborating with partners and other community organizations.

This position includes a Geographic Pay differential of $250 per month for Santa Cruz County.

Position exists in Capitola Workforce Services Office.

Overnight travel to attend training or meetings may be required. Travel between offices may be required. May require outreach activities depending on project / task assigned
