Overview :
As a Sr. Controls Engineer, you'll be working on automation solutions with a team of other passionate controls engineers.
Prepare to be challenged and inspired as you lead the electrical and controls design of complex automated assembly machines, from concept to client acceptance.
Job Responsibilities :
- Expertly navigate Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs, ensuring seamless integration and programming.
- Develop robust PLC-to-device software interfaces, complete with comprehensive documentation and validation plans.
- Showcase your prowess in commissioning intelligent devices on fieldbus networks (Ethernet I / P, ProfiNet, etc.), backed by exceptional troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in robot programming (Epson, Adept, Mitsubishi, Fanuc, Staubli, ABB) and vision systems (Cognex, Keyence).
- Master precision motion control involving coordinated motion, ensuring flawless execution.
- Specify and program cutting-edge machine vision solutions.
- Actively participate in internal and customer design reviews, installations, and service calls.
- Communicate engineering concepts and ideas clearly and effectively to builders, customers, and stakeholders.
- Understand project concepts, budgets, and schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget requirements.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 8 years of controls engineering experience in custom automation, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proven expertise in Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
- Strong background in robot programming and machine vision systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
