Mergers and Acquisitions HR Specialist, Senior

Key Role :

Performs a variety of routine tasks to facilitate all functional areas of a human resources department. Applies advanced consulting skills and / or extensive technical expertise;

full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members.

Supports People Services (PS) Mergers & Acquisition (M&A) Project Lead on deal related activities throughout the M&A life cycle.

Acts as an internal consultant to the Corporate Development integration team, Market leads, and functional stakeholders.

Consults on talent and workforce management, change initiatives, and employee programs that support affiliation, engagement, and retention of acquired employee populations.

Partners with Project Lead and other PS M&A team members to support project related activities during the integration timeline to include driving project schedule and deliverables with both internal and external stakeholders, leveraging technology and tools to capture critical data, and consulting on M&A processes and employee programs.

Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications :

5+ years of directly related experience in Human Resources Generalist or Business Partner roles supporting government contracting

Experience with HR M&A

Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance

Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications :

Experience using analytics to comprehend trends, tell a story, and develop solutions

Experience using Project Management software, preferably Smartsheet

Knowledge of HRIS and reporting components, preferably Workday

Knowledge of HR functions and processes

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
