The ideal candidate must :
- have proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the hospitality industry
- have five years of FOH service experience; 2 years of that in a fine-dining or casual fine-dining setting with a beverage focus
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including inventory management, POS systems and financial oversight.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences and fostering a positive team environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in Google Suite is a requirement.
- Proficiency in using software tools like XtraChef, RESY, InDesign and WebFlow is a plus.
- Work well and play nice with others.
- Be approachable, engaging and empathetic
- Have a genuine curiosity for and appreciation of food, beverage, and hospitality.
- Stay cool under pressure.
Bonus points for :
- being certified as a Food Safety Manager in RI.
- sommelier or cicerone certification.
- insane Tetris skills.
Physical Demands :
The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 5 to 10 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
