Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a RDA
- Proficiency in EagleSoft or similar dental software
- Knowledge of general dentistry procedures
- Proficiency in anatomy and dental terminology
- Professional demeanor, integrity, dependability, accuracy and kindness
- Goal Oriented with a great work ethic
- Ability to multitask and able to stay organized with an attention to detail
- Leadership skills and ability to manage other team members well is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- X-Ray Certification (Required)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Preparing patients and the work area : ensuring patient comfort
- Sterilizing instruments
- Assisting dentists in various general and some specialty dental procedures
- Educating patients : teach patients about proper oral hygiene and provide aftercare instructions.
- Taking x-rays
- Managing records, knowledge / proficiency with dental software such as EagleSoft.
- Scheduling appointments
- Working with billing
- Maintaining a clean environment
- Ensuring highest level of patient car
- Maintain and update patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
- Practice four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care
- Proficiency / knowledge in and of digital scanning i.e. PrimeScan, iTero
- Optimize patient comfort and prioritize patient / provider relationship
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours : 24 36 per week
Experience :
Dental assisting : 3 years (Preferred)
License / Certification :
X-Ray Certification (Required)
Work Location : In person
