CobbFendley is seeking an experienced Project Engineer in our Austin Office
Requirements
Experience 4+ years of professional experience in project design and analysis. Professional Engineering licensure may be required.Knowledge Standard engineering and scientific techniques, procedures, and criteria. Familiarity with CobbFendley's QA / QC Management System.Skills Proficiency with industry-standard computer software for the position (CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, hydrologic / hydraulic models, spreadsheets, word processing, standard office software).Responsibilities
Design + AnalysisComplete entire design and analysis for a simple project, ensuring latest manual and criteria are met, sign and seal plans.
Coordinate design and analysis tasks with the project team.Compliance + QualityAdhere to company QA / QC processes and procedures, review work by others.
Understand general contract language, risk assessments, and mitigation.Communication + CollaborationWork with supervisor, project manager, task leads, and various internal personnel to complete assignments within discipline and other disciplines.
Lead meetings and follow up documentation.Training, Learning + AdvancementAttend internal or external training.
Assist with onboarding and training various types of staff.Client + Internal SatisfactionWork with clients daily, problem solve issues and escalate concerns when needed.
Set and adhere to project schedule, attend client meetings, assist with marketing and project interviews, general understanding of financial management to ensure profitability.Technical Scope
