Keywords now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager specialized in selling Audio and Content Localization Services to be a part of our Global Business Development team.

Ideally based in Los Angeles, you are going to be a key member of the team, responsible for building and growing Keywords’ relationship with assigned clients, with a specific focus on selling Audio and Content Localization Services to Media & Entertainment and Video Games clients.

This exciting role will give the successful individual the opportunity to influence and lead a critical element of our Audio Dev and M&E vertical which comprises for M&E of : post-sound, music, ADR, sound design, dubbing, subtitling, audio description, sign language, captioning, and for Audio Development services for games : music, sound, talent acquisition, VO, implementation, taking us to the next level of our strategic growth plans.

The Business Development Manager will be joining a global team of highly dedicated professionals, which support Keywords’ four divisions as part of a central function.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished sales executive with demonstrable success in growing new business for all of the services.

Direct experience in audio for the media & entertainment and / or the video games market is a key requirement. In this role, the primary focus will be on new business generation but some account management of existing and new accounts will be involved as well.

Responsibilities

  • Work with M&E division and Business Development Representatives to identify new prospective clients for Keywords’ M&E and Audio Dev. division.
  • Develop and execute sales development strategies for these prospective clients.
  • Work with the M&E and Audio Dev teams to qualify leads and manage opportunities throughout their lifecycle.
  • Provide customer support, managing client expectations in collaboration with the M&E and Audio Dev teams.
  • Attend qualified trade conferences and provide on stand support where the company is exhibiting.
  • Follow the company’s chosen sales methodology and produce all related reports.
  • Support the delivery studio in account management where required, managing the relationship with the client, and participating in customer review meetings.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and varies per state. The base for this position is between $150,000 - 175,000.
  • Benefits package including Medical, Dental and Vision.
  • Vacation and sick leave - Keywords offers vacation accrued at 15 days per calendar year, 2 floaters and sick leave accrued at 56 hours per year (unless otherwise required by local laws), based on a 40 hour work week.

Experience & Requirements

  • 5 or more years’ experience selling content localization services ideally in the media & entertainment and / or video games industry.
  • Degree or Masters in business, marketing, sales or other related field.
  • Strong understanding of the industry market trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics and customer direction.
  • High attention to detail and ability to deliver under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to operate in a remote environment.
  • Must be comfortable working at senior executive contact levels.
  • Proven experience in generating new business sales to agreed sales targets for post production and content localization services.
  • Networking and relationship-building with the ability to successfully deal with large multinational clients.
  • Ability to work as part of a central function, supporting one of the group’s service lines.
  • Ability to cooperate with a division and represent a group of studios and services.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization, both internally at Keywords and externally with clients.
