About The Position
Job Title : CT Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - CT Tech Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00), Wednesday to Friday Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience, preference for 18 months if applicable License : For start dates 2-4 weeks out, must have an IN or compact license in hand.
For start dates 4+ weeks out, must have started the IN / compact licensing process. Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS)- ARRT(CT) Must-Have : Experience in IV Starts- Experience with PACS- Experience with Contrasts- Proficiency in imaging abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal areas Job Description : Work in a Trauma 1, Stroke 1, and Vascular 1 program with a busy ER.
- Perform advanced exams including Coronary CTA, TAVR, Cardiac, and Low Dose Exams.- Equipment used includes Phillips : Elite iQon, 7500 iqon, iCT 256, Iqon, and Brilliance 64.
- Call Requirements : 2, 8-hour call shifts per 4 weeks and 1, 24-hour weekend shift per 13 weeks.- First-time travelers are accepted.
- Floating may be required within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby.- Complete non-billable orientation and modules through the hospital's online learning system before starting.
Modules take an average of 6-12 hours to complete.- Compliance with travel requirements includes education from accredited universities, SSN, and DOB submission.
- Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.- COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required with medical / religious exemptions only.
- Required to perform all tasks and responsibilities outlined in the job description.
