Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking *Sr. Principal Data Visualization Engineer 13476. *This position will be located in *Roy, Utah;

Huntsville, Alabama; Colorado Springs, Colorado or Bellevue, Nebraska *and will support the Sentinel program. What You’ll Get To Do.

Develop data visualizations using Tableau leveraging best practices in data science and user interface / user experience design, document assumptions of algorithms and data taxonomy for the purpose of describing authenticity of data visualization trends and forecasts, forecast and trend data elements in order for users to be able to avoid future problems, utilize data reduction and data summarization techniques and leveraging graphical expressions in order to describe underlying principles within the data, work with Data Integration and Analytics technical lead to develop and grown understanding of standards and best practices within the DIA team and Sentinel program as a whole.

• Employee Discounts This position’s standard work schedule is a 9 / 80. The 9 / 80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

• Sr. Principal Data Visualization Engineer : *
• 08 Years with Bachelors in relevant field of study; 06 Years with Masters; 03 Years with PhD or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
• Demonstrated Proficiency in Tableau.
• Familiarity with SQL Database Platforms e.g. Microsoft SQL Server / PostgreSQL. *Qualifications Would be Nice to Have :

Master's Degree in technical field of study.

• Experience with Atlassian Tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience with Agile Software Development
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experienced with Data Validation
• Capable of peer reviewing and applying more advanced visualization concepts #Sentinelsoftware *Salary Range : *$126,400 - $189,600 The above salary range represents a general guideline;

however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.

Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
