Job Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team in Tualatin, OR. In this contract position, you will be responsible for creating, developing, writing, and editing operational, instructional, maintenance, and test procedures for a variety of formats, including paper, multimedia, and web-based publications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including manuals and web content, tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Conduct interviews with users and technical staff to collect essential information for documentation.
- Research and translate complex technical information into clear and user-friendly documentation.
- Document engineering processes and specifications as required.
- Recommend effective documentation formats that meet technical and customer needs.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Collaborate with various teams to gather necessary data and ensure clarity in communication.
Qualifications :
- Proficiency in CAD software (JT viewer, NX, Creo).
- Prior experience with DELMIA.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Strong understanding of engineering processes and technical specifications.
- 3-5 years of experience in Technical Writing.
