About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technologist Job Specialty : Operating Room (OR) Technician Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Shift - 5x8 - 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday, with on-call as needed Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 1 year License : Not required Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), ND UAP Must-Have : Experience in General Surgery, OBGYN, and Orthopedics Job Description : Work within a collaborative OR team to assist in various surgical procedures, focusing on General, OBGYN, and Orthopedic cases.
- Handle a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.- Participate in 5 days of unit-specific orientation to become acclimated.
- Utilize Meditech for electronic medical records.- Be prepared to support a variety of cases, typical of both adult and pediatric surgeries.
- Demonstrate willingness to help others and be an effective team player.- Participate in rotational on-call responsibilities, including weekends and holidays.
- Engage in a supportive work environment managed by a Charge Nurse on each shift.- Exhibit professionalism and adaptability within a dynamic healthcare setting.
Note : Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius and cannot hold full-time, part-time, or PRN positions affiliated with specific healthcare facilities associated with the hiring organization.)
