Become a HR Information Systems Senior Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job you will be part of the People Strategy, HR Ops and Governance team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

You will support HR’s journey to the Cloud, Digital Transformation and the overall optimization of SCE’s HR Technology solutions.

You will play a key role in supporting HR technology applications and third-party interfaces and ensuring effective alignment of processes and technology with the broader HR Digital Transformation Strategies.

You will provide consultative, as well as direct, support to HR leaders and subject matter experts on technology best practices, road maps, opportunities for automation and process improvement as well as technical compliance with existing plans and policies.

  • Design and develop SAP Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Analytics, SAP SuccessFactors People Stories and Data Visualization expert with knowledge of HR.
  • Work with HR leaders and internal / external collaborators in identifying business requirements related to technology needs, define scope, perform cost benefit analysis, build business cases, and develop conceptual specifications to address complex business issues and problems.
  • Develop relational and multi-dimension data models, perform ETL processes while integrating data from various data sources, and design visualizations to support HR key performance indicators such as employee retention, workforce planning, and recruitment effectiveness.
  • Main point of contact for system-related resolution and handling technology related recurring operational activities.
  • Lead design requirements and maintenance of HR content. Drive and support development of web-based communications, tools and materials.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in HR Technology.
  • Be available for any after-hours critical system outages and changes as needed.

The essentials

  • Ten or more years of experience designing, configuring, implementing, and managing HR analytics.
  • Five or more years of experience in SAP analytics and / or SAP analytics certification.

The preferred

  • Bachelors degree or higher in computer science, artificial intelligence, statistics, mathematics, or related fields.
  • Three or more years of experience in HR analytics.
  • Experience working in Human Resources department for fortune 500 company.
  • High-level understanding of third party integrations with HRIS applications.
  • Experience project managing moderate to complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise content
  • Interpersonal communication skills including the ability to deal with all levels of senior leadership.

You should know

This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.

Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.

The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
