We are currently in search of a dynamic Bridge Structural Design Engineer who possesses a high level of motivation. Our firm, specializing in multi-discipline engineering, offers comprehensive planning, design, and management services for transportation infrastructure projects.

Your Role :

The Bridge Structural Design Engineer will oversee structural analysis, plan preparation, and project development for surface transportation, focusing on state-specific and county projects.

Responsibilities encompass detailed design of various bridge types, creation of plans and specifications, engineering reports, quantity and cost estimates, and support during construction phases through field observation.

Qualifications :

Over 3 years of proven expertise in designing and analyzing bridge projects, encompassing both superstructure and substructure elements.
Extensive experience in load rating and rehabilitation design for bridges.
Proficient in MicroStation CAD software, with additional advantage if familiar with Bentley OpenRoads / OpenBridge programs.
Demonstrated success in developing, designing, and preparing technical reports, calculations, project drawings, details, and specifications.
Knowledgeable in NBIS inspections and experienced with FEM structural analysis software.
Preferred : Registered Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in SC, GA, and / or NC, or have the capability to obtain licensure in these states.

This role is predominantly office-based with occasional travel and fieldwork.
