Pay Rate : The annual salary range for this position is $160,000 $230,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.

Summary : RTL Networks has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Level Embedded Software Developer supporting NAVAIR.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Proficiency in embedded programming languages such as C / C++
• Experience using microprocessors (i.e. : ARM, PIC) and other embedded processors
• Knowledge of Real-Time Operations Systems and Task Scheduling (INTEGRITY preferred)
• Experience with Multi-threaded Application Development
• Experience with developing kernel drivers
• Experience in utilizing JTAG or other similar debugging interfaces
• Ability to read electronic design / schematics
• Past experience in working with and fault isolating prototype hardware
• Familiarity with Embedded Communications Protocols (i.e. I2C, SPI, UART)
• Understanding of Software Lifecycle (Government Software Milestone experience preferred)
• Holds (or has the ability to acquire) a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance

Qualifications :

• Proficiency in embedded programming languages such as C / C++
• Experience using microprocessors (i.e. : ARM, PIC) and other embedded processors
• Knowledge of Real-Time Operations Systems and Task Scheduling (INTEGRITY preferred)

Preferred Qualifications :

• Previous experience with Avionics Systems
• Familiarity with Avionics Communications Protocols (MIL-STD 1553, ARINC 429)
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams - Hardware, Software, I&T, PMA, etc.
• Experience developing towards DISA Secure Coding Standards, CERT, MISRA, or other related specifications

Physical Demands :

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance. We will sponsor the clearance or upgrade to Top-Secret.

US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location.
