Job DescriptionCore ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an Sr. Engineering Manager for leading a tightly knit team of savvy Data Engineers.

This team is solving hard problems

the right way using cutting-edge data collection, transformation, analysis, and monitoring tools in the cloud for a new platform whose mission is to build the next generation of Audience & Identity data platform

that handles enormous scale and uses state-of-the-art technologies to unlock the data’s business value. As a team leader, you will be managing projects requiring new development, enhancements, and cross-functional integrations.

Job DescriptionWhat You Will Be DoingLead the team, providing mentorship, coaching, and regular feedback to enable hands-on career development.

Scaling the team and supporting them in their growth. Identify and provide team members with growth opportunities that align with their career goals, ensure all engineers keep current with technological developments within the industry.

Oversees the planning and designing of software and applications, including new programs, enhancements and modifications.

Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Analysis to determine integration needs.

Manage all the deliverables to ensure adherence to deadlines, specifications, and budgets.

Serves as the primary point of contact and liaison between teams. Iterate on regular process meetings that help maintain strong communication among the team.

Monitor project progress and report findings to the leadership team.

Provide guidance to the Software Engineering team and other departments in identifying product and technical requirements.

Conduct work performance reviews and ensure work performance is adhering to Company standards.

Advocating for improvements to data quality, security, cost efficiencies and performance.

RequirementsBachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a similar field of study.

Ideally 5+ years of data engineering experience.

2+ years' experience scaling and managing 5+ person teams

Communication and leadership experience, with experience initiating and driving projects.

Passion for growing and developing engineers, helping them level up in their careers.

A track record of fostering collaboration among team members through an effective process.

Ability to make the tradeoffs required to ship without compromising quality or team health.

A self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and enjoying working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Experience helping maintain a technical roadmap and balancing novel asks from engineering, product, and other stakeholders against improvements to the existing platform.

Expertise in at least one backend language, such as Java, Scala, Python, Golang - we build our services with

Familiarity with

and creating

pipelines for large datasets .

Experience utilizing

cloud infrastructure

We build and maintain high-quality data solutions on the state-of-the-art cloud-native data platform using AWS.

Salary : National Pay Range : $115,449.70 USD-$270,585.23 USDComcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
