Up to $20,000 Sign-On bonus for experienced Registered Nurse / RN
Position Summary
The RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process.
The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.
The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of his / her assigned patients.
He / she is also responsible for the supervision of assigned personnel. The position requires intimate knowledge of both department and hospital policies and procedure relevant to the delivery of nursing care.
Interpretive skills frequent interactive and consultative associations, along with management and supervisory skills are inherent in the position.
The ability to retrieve, communicate, or otherwise present information in a written, auditory, or visual fashion is essential.
The primary method to express or exchange ideas is through the spoken word. Written, telephone, and manual dexterity skills are required for the position.
Position Qualifications
EDUCATION :
- Minimum : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Preferred : BSN
EXPERIENCE :
Prior clinical experience in area of expertise preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE / REGISTRATION :
- Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
- BLS Certification.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS :
EKG certification, ACLS and PALS certification.
