About The Position
Job Title : Special Procedures TechnologistJob Specialty : Diagnostic Imaging - Interventional Radiologic TechnologistJob Duration : 13 weeksShift : 40 hours / week, Days, Monday - Friday, between 07 : 00 - 17 : 00Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / weekExperience : Minimum of 2 years of clinical imaging experience required, specifically in interventional radiologyLicense : Radiologic License requiredCertifications : ARRT (R) required;
ARRT (VI) highly preferred; BLS required (issued by American Heart Association only)Must-Have : - Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or similar-sized hospital- Proficiency with pediatric, neuro, and vascular interventional patients- Familiarity with sterile technique and preparing trays for procedures Job Description : - Work collaboratively with Vascular Interventional and Neuroendovascular physicians and nurses- Utilize multiple imaging modalities for diagnostic and interventional purposes, including Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI- Image a diverse patient group, including inpatients, outpatients, pediatrics, and intra-operative patients- Apply critical thinking skills in emergent cases such as strokes and traumas- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system is highly preferred- Traveler experience highly preferred- Floating : Travelers may be required to float to different units or locations based on staffing needs and competencies.
