About the Position

The IT Engineer will work with the Technical Operations (TechOps) team to design, develop, and implement technical solutions to support business needs.

They will perform routine maintenance and updates on IT infrastructure and systems, support software and hardware integration projects, and ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.

This role is crucial in maintaining the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems, enabling the company to achieve its strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT infrastructure and systems
• Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies
• Support software and hardware integration projects
• Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems and processes
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards

About You

• 3+ years of IT experience
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Experience with macOS and Windows endpoints
• Experience with corporate management systems like Jamf, Intune, Google Workspace, and Okta
• Proficiency in system administration, networking, and virtualization technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

We pay all employees competitively relative to the New York City market, regardless of their location. In compliance with NYC’s pay transparency law and in pursuit of pay equity and fairness, we publish salary ranges for all open roles at Formation Bio.

The target salary range for this role is $83,000 - $105,000.
