Chef de Cuisine
Location : Martha’s Vineyard, MA
Monthly Salary : $75,000 - $90,000 + yearly bonus

The Client :
An iconic family-owned luxurious hotel located in the heart of beautiful Martha’s Vineyard, just off the coast of Massachusetts.
The property’s culinary team prepare exceptional dishes from scratch and they have an incredible opportunity for a Chef de Cuisine to join their prosperous team!
Responsibilities :
- Manage the culinary operations across multiple outlets, ensuring guests are provided with an outstanding experience
- Create and develop menus
- Ensure the food is prepared, plated, and served efficiently and to the highest standards
- Recruit a high performing team. Train staff in proper cooking techniques and adherence to recipes and quality standards
- Establish appropriate staffing levels and conduct daily shift briefings with culinary team members
- Manage inventory, labour and food costs
Chef de Cuisine Requirements :
- 2 years experience in a comparable role, preferably within a high-end hotel / fine dining restaurant
- Experience in a scratch kitchen is preferable
- Strong financial acumen
- A creative leader who can hold their own in a fast-paced environment, all while having a positive and humble personality
- Experience using hospitality software systems is an asset
