About The Position

PALS Tele Strip - Preferred Must-Have : - Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Allscripts Paragon - Ability to read vital signs and provide injections / vaccinations - Willingness to float as needed - Ability to maintain satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units Job Description : - Plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care and functions within one unit on a specific shift in accordance with established philosophy.
- Relate effectively with other shifts for continuity of care.- Maintain satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units.
- Participate in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel.
- Comply with ANA standards applicable to all nurses, with additional specialty standards for specialty nursing.- Undergo a 4 to 6 week orientation before taking on floor duties.
