RWJBarnabas Health is seeking experienced RNs to join our System-Wide Float Pool. In this role, RNs have the opportunity to gain exposure to a broad scope of patient care within their specialty area while working assignments at each of the sites throughout our system.
The RNs support the team and the patients at each site for an average of three months per assignment. There are opportunities available to float regionally (to the northern or the southern region sites) or to float throughout the entire RWJBH system.
Enhanced Float Differentials offered based on region.
Requirements
- Minimal of three (3) years of oncology experience in a hospital setting. Demonstrated expertise in medical / surgical telemetry field, just CMSRN preferred
- OCN certification preferred
- Chemotherapy / Immunotherapy Provider competency preferred or willing to complete within 6 months of hire
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Baccalaureate Degree in nursing strongly preferred.
- Current New Jersey RN licensure required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required, NIH preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership and collaboration skills. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated ability to be an effective role model to others.
- Flexibility and adaptability is essential in meeting System staffing needs as required.
- Travel required to various hospital-based facilities within RWJBarnabas Health.
Average site assignment is three (3) month (less or more). Assignment length will be based upon facility need. Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.
