• Job Description : Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Clinic

Location : Boston, MA 02118

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 5 : 45 AM - 1 : 45 PM (8 Hour Days)

On-Call : No Call

Weekends : Every Other Weekend

Hours : 40 Hour Guarantee

Hourly Pay : $35 to $40 (W2)

Position Overview : We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinic team in Boston, MA for a 13-week assignment.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring a positive patient experience and adherence to clinical standards.

Responsibilities :

• Provide direct patient care in a clinic setting, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures.
• Conduct patient assessments and report findings to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting care, observations, and interventions.
• Assist in patient education and discharge planning, ensuring patients understand their treatment plans and medication regimens.
• Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms, including stocking supplies and sterilizing instruments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Follow clinic policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members, providing compassionate and professional support.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain current knowledge and skills in nursing practices.

Requirements :

• Current and valid LVN / LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a clinic or outpatient setting.
• CPR / BLS certification required.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to perform a wide range of nursing procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Availability to work the specified shift and every other weekend.
