Outpatient Marketing Director

Preferred PT, OT

Primarily responsible for the relationship management aspects of referral development specific to outpatient services. Serves as Director of Marketing for the hospital-based and / or freestanding outpatient clinic.

This includes physician office calls, networking and participation in professional healthcare organizations, educational in-services and support of community initiatives such as health fairs / screenings or other community-sponsored activities that provide opportunities to raise general awareness of PAM Health programs and services.

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. This is an exempt position and is a dual report with 90% to the Director of Strategy and Integration and 10% to the Corporate Outpatient Program Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct Marketing

• Identifies and targets new referral sources for PAM Health within assigned territory.
• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with referral sources in assigned territory through ongoing assessment and servicing of their healthcare needs.
• Performs in-person appointments to market PAM programs to designated referral sources within assigned territory and meet assigned objectives on a weekly basis.

Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately.

• Maintains an excellent understanding of all outpatient programs, including features and benefits of such programs throughout the system.
• Meets assigned objectives for weekly calls and contacts.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Training : Healthcare experience in marketing desired. Computer literate and desire to enhance skills with PAM information system software.

Strongly preferred PT, OT

Experience : Prior involvement calling on physicians and referring facilities is desired. Must have current professional licensure to perform secondary responsibilities as back-up support for clinical oversight relative to patient care.
