Currently partnered with a well-established non-profit in NYC looking for a Grant Accountant to join their team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position is a great opportunity to gain experience within the non-profit sector in a rapidly growing team.
Responsibilities
- Create billing weekly
- Prepare Government Claims.
- Manage claims for the Government and other outside agencies.
- Ensure all monthly, quarterly, semi-annual reports are completed.
- Generate reports for government and outside funding sources.
- Journal entries / General Ledger
- Assist in preparation of financial reports, statements and analyses.
- Assist with financial statements to include balance sheet, income statement.
- Assist in preparation of Audit reports, for budget and grants statements
- Ensure all reconciliations are completed .
- Assist auditors during their field work and analysis.
- Helpcpcrepare financial reports
- Assist with general and fiscal operations.
- Meeting deadlines on a timely basis.

- B.A. or A.A.S. degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
- Adbanced Excel skills
- Must have demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and independent
- assignments.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
