Davis County Animal Care is currently hiring for a full-time Office Specialist located in Fruit Heights, Utah. This position performs front facing customer service and routine clerical work at the animal shelter.

Pay Range & Benefits :
$17.48 - $22.20 / hr*
Salary based on qualifications and experience.

Requirements
High school graduation or equivalent.
Preference for 2 years of related work experience performing front facing receptionist duties in an office setting within the last 3 years.
Preference for bilingual in English / Spanish with customer service work experience.
The work schedule for this position is 9 : 30 am - 6 : 30 pm, Monday - Friday, onsite.

Day to Day Duties
- Performs receptionist duties including greeting visitors to the animal shelter and providing assistance with adoptions, foster care, and owner surrenders.
- Answers phone calls and handles any question or matters of a non-technical or routine nature and directs callers to the appropriate staff member.
- Provides information to the public, answers inquiries, and resolves complaints from the public.
- Performs routine clerical work including file searching, filing documents, sorting and distributing mail, answering telephones, relaying messages, and receiving and distributing supplies.
- Fills in data on impound and license forms; reviews reports and forms for accuracy and completeness.
- Enters and updates information in the shelter database.
- Receives fees and handles money; posts information to various records.
- Operates computer terminal, multiple-line telephone system, point-of-sale machine, and other similar types of equipment.
