Education

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, or related field (preferred).

Experience

  • Two (2) or more years of technical writing experience, including editing, formatting, and configuration management of documentation.

    • Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Must have or be able to obtain a security clearance.

    • Desired Qualifications

  • Familiar with test and evaluation related documentation.
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

    • Skills

  • Technical writing background
  • Configuration management skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

    • Duties

  • Edit, track, distribute, and manage safety documents, test plans, and reports required to test and evaluate inert and explosive ordnance.
  • Provide tactical support to weapons development programs and serve as point of contact for all technical document issues.
  • Attend on-site review and validation of technical documents.
  • Research and submit technical documents upon request.
  • Maintain technical document status sheets, spreadsheets, databases, and forms.

    • Compliance with health mandates as dictated by the contract may be required for employment.
