job_description.job_card.job_descriptionActive AZ license BC / BE BLS DEA license Minimum 2 years experience Conduct professional medical and physical examinations on patients. Make diagnoses and develop appropriate treatment regimens. Make electronic entries in patient medical record. Attend hospital meetings. Attend onsite patient court hearings to provide testimony for court proceedings, discussion with legal representatives / agencies and other duties as necessary. Administer medical treatment and diagnostic programs. Apply prior knowledge and training to unusual and varied medical and / or psychiatric conditions. Provide coverage for day Officer of the Day (OD) calls if requested. Respond to emergency calls and treatment(s). Direct work of professional staff. Work effectively with fellow medical staff and treatment team members such as psychologists, PAs, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, social workers, dietitians, therapists, etc. Any other duties as assigned. Connect with fellow locum professionals through online forums, networking events, and support groups, fostering camaraderie, collaboration, and shared learning experiences. Contribute to global health initiatives by participating in international locum assignments, addressing healthcare disparities and supporting healthcare infrastructure development. Participate in clinical research projects or data collection initiatives during locum assignments, contributing to medical knowledge advancement and evidence-based practice. Stay current with the latest medical advancements and technologies by working in various facilities with diverse resources. Tailor your schedule to suit your lifestyle, allowing for personal commitments and travel.
