Position Overview
Primarily responsible for the preparation of the race hauler on a weekly basis and driving the race car transporter to and from the track, wind tunnel, NASCAR inspections, etc. May require use of automated routing equipment. Requires commercial drivers’ license.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor trailer to and from events within weight laws and following all DOT safety regulations.
- Responsible for service and maintenance on truck.
- Clean, organize, restock, load and unload the transporter.
- Drives the company vehicle, transporting company property, safely to events and tests across the country.
- Checks vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Follows appropriate safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods.
- Maintains driver logs of working hours, as well as perform and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Manage transporter emergency situations, including but not limited to flat tires, mechanical failures, etc.
- Report accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles to supervisor as soon as possible.
- Collaborate with other drivers as part of a driving team.
- Responsible for ensuring transporter operates within DOT standards for service and compliance.
- Provide at-track and race team support during races
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
Required Skills, Experience and Abilities
To perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following competencies :
