Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Infusion Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Clinical Services team.
The ideal candidate will have experience with infusing autoimmune drugs or have worked in an infusion center. You will be responsible for administering biologic medications, managing patient care, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities :
- Administer biologic and other intravenous medications to patients with chronic diseases such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis, and multiple sclerosis.
- Monitor patients during infusions and manage any adverse reactions or complications.
- Conduct patient assessments, review medical histories, and collaborate with referring physicians to develop and adjust treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families about infusion therapy, medications, and potential side effects.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure the infusion center adheres to all safety and compliance regulations.
- Provide exceptional patient care and foster a supportive and comforting environment.
Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an infusion center or similar setting, particularly with autoimmune drugs.
- Proficient in intravenous (IV) therapy and management of infusion reactions.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
