Position description

The Kvon Lab ( in the Department of Developmental and Cell Biology at University of California, Irvine is seeking applicants for a NIH-funded Postdoctoral Scholar position.

The successful candidate will work on several projects aiming to understand mammalian enhancer regulation in the context of the 3D genome, human congenital disorders, and mammalian evolution (see Kvon et al.

Nature Reviews Genetics , Kvon et al. Cell , and Kvon et al. Cell ). The projects will involve using cutting-edge mouse transgenesis and genome editing techniques as well as genomic technologies such as Hi-C and multiome and scRNA-seq.

A strong background in analyzing sequencing data in any model system is preferred but not required. The Kvon Lab is a member of Center for Complex Biological Systems (CCBS) and NSF-Simons Center for Multiscale Cell Fate Research (CMCF).
