Primary Function
We are looking for a competent IT Service Desk Analyst to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer system for our big brand client in Minneapolis.
You will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them.
An excellent IT Service Desk Analyst must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution.
They must also be customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult customers.
The goal is to create value for clients that will help preserve the brand's reputation and business. This role is part time for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for 24 hours per week.
There may occasionally be a need for Friday or Monday.
Pay rate : $25 - $28 / hour
Start Date : 8 / 20 / 2024
End Date : 02 / 27 / 2025
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional in-person technical troubleshooting support service to employees at all levels of the organization at our WHQ locations
- Conduct assessment, research and resolution of incidents and service requests
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operations
- Monitor and handle escalations from external service provider
- Updating SOPs and other service documentation with current practices and procedures
Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft OS : Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, VPN, network, hardware, peripherals, cyber security
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Advanced collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience providing end-user technology support
