YOUR IMPACT

The Loan Data Quality team is seeking a motivated professional to support loan product data set up & maintenance. We seek team orientated candidates who can demonstrate excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage competing tasks and prioritize risk accordingly in a fast paced and demanding environment.

Team members are expected to be able to consistently deliver on day-to-day execution as well as contribute to strategic organizational goals.

Investment Banking Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted business that partners with all parts of the firm to facilitate banking & financing capabilities to clients around the world.

In addition, IB Operations provide essential risk management and control to preserve and enhance the firm’s assets and its reputation.

The Loan Data Quality team is responsible for ongoing management of loan product data. Daily interactions with key stakeholders such as Bankers, Legal, Credit, Risk and Technology are crucial to the role to ensure timely and effective client service.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the bank loan business and understanding loan structures
  • Leverage your quantitative skills to decompose complex loan restructures and ensure booking are complete within timelines
  • Enhance your industry knowledge through understanding of complex loan closings
  • Grow with the team; develop a deeper understanding of complex transactions and work with our business partners to progress on organizational goals
  • Assume accountability and ownership of complex situations, offering own expertise to influence outcomes
  • Risk Management Partner with regional management team to provide effective oversight of key loan product data attributes
  • Deliver consistent client service through partnerships with other teams and divisions
  • Deliver day-to-day issue resolution through effective time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking
  • Continually adapt to changes in the business, markets and regulatory environment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks associated with bespoke workflows
  • Showcase your ability to function as a team player in a highly collaborative environment while working closely with internal and external stakeholders such as Business Groups, Reporting Controllers, Risk, Technology and Operations Leadership
  • Collaborate with global team counterparts in Bengaluru on initiatives supporting a global loan support model
  • Support MIS reporting, including key risk indicators, trends and milestones of the team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a finance related field preferred
  • Experience in Loan Operations
  • Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail
  • Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal clients with differing levels of product experience
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player, who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Flexible and able to work well under pressure within a team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Financial or quantitative educational background
  • Understanding of Loan Operations & Regulatory reporting experience and / or experience in handling audits
  • Graduate degree
  • Experience working with business intelligence tools
