We seek an enthusiastic, compassionate, and Aloha-spirited CNA who is open to working in a skilled nursing facility in Burlingame, CA.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities :
- Helping patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and maintaining personal hygiene
- Recording and reporting vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
- Assisting with patient transfers, mobility exercises, and aiding those with walking or movement difficulties
- Adjusting bedding, pillows, and providing emotional support to ensure patient well-being
- Noting and reporting changes in patients' physical or mental condition to the nursing staff, and documenting care provided
- Setting up and maintaining basic medical equipment and assisting with devices like walkers or wheelchairs
- Adhering to infection control procedures, including proper hand hygiene and following isolation precautions
- Assisting with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring dietary intake
- Effectively communicating with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing updates and information as needed
- Offering basic education to patients and families on care techniques and treatment plans
- Implementing safety measures to prevent accidents, and responding to emergency situations appropriately
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in nursing or similar medical fields
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
