Job Description :
At Blankfactor, we are seeking a Lead Java Engineer with extensive experience in the capital markets sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with deep expertise in production rollout within a banking environment and a robust understanding of rigorous design standards.
This role is critical for leading our team in developing scalable and high-performance solutions for our clients in the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead Development Efforts : Design and develop Java applications tailored for the capital markets environment, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and high-performing.
Code Quality Assurance : Establish and maintain best practices in coding standards and development methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including product management, QA, and operations, to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.
Production Oversight : Manage production implementations, ensuring adherence to design standards, compliance requirements, and best practices throughout the deployment process.
Mentorship and Guidance : Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Requirements :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience :
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Java development.
Proven experience working in capital markets and banking environments.
Demonstrated success with production rollouts in a banking context.
Strong familiarity with rigorous design standards and large-scale solution development.
Skills : Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for technology and mentoring others.
