YOUR IMPACT
The Securities Settlements team within Global Markets Operations (GMO) is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious professional ready to take the next step in their career.
In this role, you will have a mixture of responsibilities including day to day oversight and risk management for settlement and inventory functions supporting Global Market clients and trading desks for Equity and Fixed Income products as well as an expectation of ability to successfully identifying, lead and deliver change the bank initiatives to drive scale and improve processes within your function.
You will apply your quantitative, problem solving and customer service skills to support the various business units and clients.
In addition, the successful candidate will partner with trading desks, engineering, clients, and adjacent operations teams to deliver first class service and risk management.

Securities Settlements is a dynamic team in Operations that processes and controls the settlement of all asset types, transfer of electronic and physical assets relating to company distributions, client trades, and the restructuring of client portfolios.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years' experience in Investment Banking Operations, particularly within Securities flows
- Strong understanding of control and risk mindset in addition to securities trade lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail
- Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues and concepts to a wide array of internal partners with differing levels of product experience and seniority
- Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability, has strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environment
- Strong dedication to the culture of excellence of the firm
